    Notes:

    Henry graduated at Yale College in 1828, and was tutor there 1831-34. He was ordained Nov. 9,
    1836, as pastor of the First Congregational church in Waterbury, Conn., and resigned his charge
    Oct. 1, 1840. He was professor of homiletics and pastoral theology in Western Reserve College,
    1840-58; president of Ohio Female College, 1858-64. He resided in 1876 in New Haven, Conn.
    In 1861 he received the degree of D.D., from Farmery College, and LL.D., from Ingham
    University. He is the author of sixteen volumes, the earliest, "Art of Elocution", published in
    1844, and "Science of Ethics", published in 1876. (Source: Family of Thomas Noble of
