Notes |
- Samuel was one of the wardens of the First Episcopal church, and that prevented the baptism of the church at Old South to which he had belonged. It may be thought that this led to his imprisonment at the Revolution in April 1689. Soon after, he united in a loyal address to King William, but probably removed in short time. [2]
