- Came in the Griffin 1633 with Cotton. He joined the church a few days after the teacher. Freeman 14 May 1634. Representative 1635. Selectman 1634-37. Went to Rhode Island, was there in high office 1638. And President 1659-1663, but had come back to Boston between 1650 and 1658. Every year was a Selectman 1652-57. Contributed more than any other inhabitant except Henry Webb to subscription for erection of town house. [3]
