  • Notes
    • Settled in Charlestown, NH in 1740. Charleston, NH, then known as Fort number 4, was first settled by three brothers, Samuel, David, and Stephen Farnsworth, natives of Groton. They were soon followed by Isaac Parker and his sons. Isaac Parker and Stephen Farnsworth were captured by Indians on 19-Apr-1746. Isaac was released and returned to Boston the following winter. Stephen was held in Montreal for 17 months before being exchanged.
