    • Thomas was freeman 14 May 1634. He was of the Artillery Company in 1645. Lieutenant and Captain, Representative 1647, 1653, and for Beverly 1672 and more years, where he was one of the founders of the church in 1667. He was killed by the Indians in the fight at Bloody Brook, with almost every man of his Company called "The Flower of Essex". [1]
