Notes |
- Columbus was employed in the construction of the Butte Short Line of the Northern Pacific Railway in 1889-90. He was a Congregationalist, and was president of Montana Christian Endeavor Union in 1893-4, and acting secretary of the same in 1899. He is founder of the industrial department of the East Central African Mission of the A.B.C.F.M. at Mt. Selinda, Rhodesia, South Africa, where in 1906 he was living.
