      Waechter, Jeffrey Paul
      With deep love and a heavy heart, the immediate family of Jeffrey Waechter announce he began Eternal Life on June 16, 2016, at the age of 52. Born May 5, 1964.
      He has now joined his loving father Alfred (November 2002), grandparents William and Bernolda Waechter, Herbert and Cecilia Chesney. Loved always and treasured by wife Dianne (Lawless) and Mother Geraldine, will be missed and never forgotten by brothers Mike and Dan and their wives Glenda and Airlie.
      His life will be fondly remembered by godparents Pat and Len Zettel.
      Cherished by his nieces and nephew Sarah, Alicia and Jake Waechter. His step-children Stephen, Matthew, Christopher and wife Meredith, Bethany and Paul. His grandchildren Anthony, Jordan and Elsa.
      Grandchildren Anthony and Jordan enjoyed every minute spent with Grandpa Doc. Whether it was playing in the back yard or chatting on the way to school, Grandpa Doc made things fun. Customers and colleagues valued Doctor Diesel as Jeff was their trusted mechanic - second to none.
      Jeff was proud of the accomplishments achieved throughout his career as a heavy equipment mechanic. He graduated top of his class at Fanshawe College. When a truck broke down, Jeff had it back on the road in no time. If a problem needed to be solved ? Jeff rose to the challenge. Highly regarded and respected in his field.
      Over the last twenty years he worked for Stotesbury Transfer Limited and Panda Environmental Services Inc.
      A master mechanic, accomplished musician and one who enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing and golfing. Cooking was his passion. Enjoyed his best buddies, dogs Prince Gunner, Harley along with his Schnauzers.
      Committed to his family and friends. Deep with values of integrity, strength and honesty. A gifted individual respected by those that had the opportunity to know him. Always willing to learn and work hard. Always the one to help others and generously gave his time. He will be remembered most for enjoying each day, his commitment to family and friends and his drive to be the best in his trade.
      Jeff?s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario, (519) 749 - 8467 on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 2 ? 4 p.m. and 7 ? 9 p.m. with Parish prayers at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church 29 Midland Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, followed by a reception in the St. Anthony Daniel Parish Life Centre. Reverend Earl Talbot officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the KW Humane Society or the St. Anthony Daniel?s Roofing Fund. (cards available at the funeral home).
