    • As a boy he lived in Greensboro, Glover and Newport Town, VT where he came with family sometime in the 1850s. They lived in N. Troy, VT and Jay, VT. He helped build the railroad that runs through N. Troy from Montreal to Boston. The greater part of his life was spent on farms. He was known to his family and friends as "Saul Day". He was very devoted to his family and his grandchildren were a great pride and joy to him. Another source gives his date of death as 04-Aug-1933. He last lived on a small farm in Derby, VT.
