- Hannah was in captivity nearly 2 years from 1696 to 1698. Hannah was again taken captive in 1704 and 2 children were killed. Another child, born in captivity, was cruelly murdered. Hannah was sold to the French for 80 pounds and carried to Canada. After 2 years bondage she was rescued by her husband.
