Notes |
- He settled in Poultney, VT in 1820. He was a Baptist elder and preacher. History of Cornwall, VT says: "He had no permanent residence in town, but often preached at the house of Capt. Samuel Wadsworth on Cream Hill. He was peculiarly solemn and earnest in presenting his subject to his hearers, sometimes exciting to tears even the children, who would listen to him in breathless silence. Mrs. Fuller was aunt of Gov. and Sen. Joseph R. Hawley of Conn.
