    • George compiled 2 volumes of pioneer history and assisted (first 15 chapters) in writing of Peck's "History of Rochester". His other works included a partial history of the Denonville Expedition of 1687, published in 1887; a paper, "The Early History of Western New York, 1886"; lectures on the aboriginal history of Victor and of Rush, 1869; a paper, Root Foods of the Seneca Indians, published in Proceedings of the Rochester Academy of Science, 1891; a lecture, "Life and Letters of Baron La Hontan, 1892".
