- Thomas was a sergeant 1775; second lieutenant 1776; first lieutenant in Jedediah Huntingdon's regiment 1777. He was later made a Captain of Militia. He was in the siege of Boston, in the battles of Long Island, White Plains, Germantown, and Peekskill, and was in camp at Valley Forge. He was an armorer. He settled in Colerain, Mass. after the Revolution. He was a congressman in Jefferson's administration. [3]
