BESTER, Lorne - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lorne Joseph Bester of R.R. 4 Walkerton on Thursday, September 5, 2013. He was 76. Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan (nee Kroeplin) Bester of R.R. 4 Walkerton. He will be remembered in the hearts of his children Tim (Wendy) Bester, Bruce (Alisa) Bester, Kathy Flett, Mike Bester, Pat Bester, Jordy (Anne) Bester, Sharon (Rob) Bentall and Brian (Kim) Bester. He was the cherished grandpa to 15 grand and 1 great-grandchild. Dear brother of Mildred Fleet of Kitchener, Betty Dawson of Edmonton and Helen Hesch of Meaford. He was predeceased by his son Kevin, brothers Henry, Gordon, Edward, Leonard, Jerome and Charlie, sisters Agnes Bester, Florence Bester, Mary Edwards, Hilda Bester and Sadie Bester, daughter-in-law Sharon Bester and his parents George and Elizabeth (nee Graf) Bester. The Bester family received friends and relatives at CAMERON FUNERAL HOME in Walkerton on Sunday from 7-9 and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The celebration of Lorne's life was held at Mary Immaculate Church in Chepstow on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Luc Payette officiated. Interment followed at Mary Immaculate Cemetery in Chepstow. Pallbearers included Andy Schmidt, Dave Kidd, Eric Fritz, Marvin Freiburger, Ken Grubb and Don Fischer. Honourary pallbearers were Joe Richenback, Bill Bester, Dennis White, Rob Bentall, Bruce Flett, Paul Campbell and Jerry Ernewein. Flowerbearers were Kate & Sadie Bester, Gavin & Madison Bester and Nathan Bentall. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.12566813
