• Notes

  John was freeman 1671, Representative 1672 and 1674. He was a Captain in Philip's War. He had before been a merchant dangerously wounded in the great Narragansett fight 19 Dec 1675. He was chosen an Assistant in May 1676, but ion 18 Sep 1676 he died of his wounds. [5]
