- Samuel graduated 1839 at Williams College, was from Oct. 1848 to May 1855, pastor of the Congregational church in Scantic parish, East Windsor, Conn. In 1877 he was pastor of the Catholic Apostolic congregation in Hartford, Conn. His publications were: 1. Life of our Lord upon the Earth, Considered in its Historical, Chronological, and Geographical Relations (New York, 1863, new and wholly revised edition 1891); 2. God's Revelations of Himself to Men (1885); 3. Christianity and Anti-Christianity in their Final Conflict (1898); 4. The Church and its Organic Ministry (1899); 5. William Warson Andrews; A Religious Biography (1900).
