| Notes |
- He was a Lieutenant in the Colonial Militia in 1747 and was made Captain in 1750. He served as Captain in the relief of Fort Edward and Fort William Henry under Jonathan Trumbull in the French and Indian War. In 1774 Benjamin Sr. and Jr. purchased land under NY charter. On 9-Aug-1780 he served with Capt. Jos. Parkhursts Co. Benjamin and Standish Day were paid for 6 days labor at the building of Ft. Fortitude at Bethel, VT. On 15-Aug-1780 Ben and Standish Day were again paid for their labors.
