  • Notes
    • After emigrating from Germany in 1840, the Theobald Fritz family lived in a 1- story log house built in 1839 on Lot 21, Concession 2, in the north-west corner of Wilmot Township in Waterloo County, Ontario, until their deaths. They farmed this land for several years. Theobald's death registration indicates his occupation at his time of death as a weaver. This suggests that he probably took up weaving during his golden years. The Fritz family was Roman Catholic.
